Ben R. Loggins

Ben R. Loggins, CPA was raised in East Point and began his professional journey at the young age of 10, delivering newspapers. His academic foundation was established at Georgia State University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). His professional career started with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where he worked as a field agent and instructor from 1971 to 1977. In 1978, he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and joined an international CPA firm, where he worked until founding his own practice in Jonesboro in 1980.

For over 40 years, he successfully operated his CPA practice, offering trusted financial and tax services to his community. His dedication to education also led him to serve as an instructor at Clayton State University from 1978 to 1983. His career has been marked by a commitment not only to professional excellence but also to community leadership and service.

He served as treasurer for the Clayton County Olympic Committee and held a seat on the Foundation Board at Southern Regional Hospital from 1990 to 2007. From 1993 to 2004, he served as treasurer for the Georgia Figure Skating Association and was a member of the Governing Council of the U.S. Figure Skating Association from 1998 to 2004. A dedicated Rotarian since 1981, he served as treasurer of the Clayton County Rotary Club from 1987 to 2010.

His contributions have been widely recognized, including being honored as Clayton County’s Small Business of the Year in 2006. He also served as Director of the Atlanta Alumni of Revenue Agents and the Bay View Homeowner’s Association and maintained active membership in the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Additionally, he has shared his expertise through numerous tax planning seminars in the metropolitan area.

Through decades of service and leadership, he has remained deeply committed to the growth and well-being of his community, blending professional expertise with a passion for making a meaningful impact.
